Use Melio to send payments to vendors located in countries outside of the United States. Currently, you can make international payments to vendors located in the following countries:

  • Canada

  • Europe- See full list below

  • United Kingdom

Every country has a different banking network system regulating and verifying transactions between countries.

For example, Canada uses a SWIFT code network to verify transaction details whereas the UK and European countries use the IBAN network.

How do you know which code to use?

That depends on where you’re sending your payment.

  • Canada - You’ll need your vendor’s Swift code.

  • UK and Europe- You’ll need your vendor’s IBAN code.

Usually, you’ll find the code on the invoice sent by your vendor. Otherwise, ask your vendor for their number.

Don’t see your vendors’ country on this list? Send us a request to let us know or to hear more about our plans to expand in the future.
